
Grace helps drive the adaptation of standards in international markets to make a safer world.
Grace Callahan is a Senior International Standards Project Manager at UL Standards & Engagement where she supports a portfolio of safety standards and related activities to drive the adaptation of standards in international markets and make the world safer, more secure, and sustainable.
In her current role, Grace also leads projects to help create a safer world for everyone through standards. One of these projects focuses on exploring how to incorporate accessibility considerations into standards to promote the safety of people with disabilities. Grace also leads an initiative to ensure that UL standards are gender-responsive by addressing the physical and physiological differences between males and females while actively participating in the ISO/IEC Joint Strategic Advisory Group on Gender-Responsive Standards.
Grace was selected as an International Electrotechnical Commission Young Professional by the U.S. National Committee to represent the U.S. at the 2022 IEC General Meeting. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from North Carolina State University.
