UL Standards & Engagement, a U.S. based global standards developing organization (SDO), has officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Mexican SDO, Normalización y Certificación (NYCE), formalizing an agreement to collaborate on the development of standards that will serve fire safety needs in Mexico.

UL Standards & Engagement, a U.S.-based global standards development organization (SDO), and Asociación de Normalización y Certificación, A.C. (ANCE), a Mexico-based SDO, are pleased to announce the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between both organizations.

UL Standards & Engagement and the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) recently hosted the first two of 11 virtual workshops in a series organized to promote the sharing of standardization and safety information. As outlined in a 2007 collaboration agreement, both organizations worked together to identify topics for the series that would be relevant to Saudi Arabia and SASO.

We recently held a joint webinar with the Technical Standards Institute of Costa Rica in support of the Electrotechnical Committee of Costa Rica as it evaluates the need for standards that focus on photovoltaic and distribution systems.

We signed a licensing agreement with the Bahamas Bureau of Standards and Quality to provide a framework for developing technical standards in the region.

We hosted a joint webinar on standards development processes with DTI-BPS, discussing transparency, openness, impartiality, relevance, and coherence.

We signed a memorandum of understanding with Shenzhen International Security Technology Company to promote mutual communication of each other’s standards development.
