UL Standards Featured in May-June 2023 Issue of FSAI Journal

FSAI JournalThe May-June 2023 issue of the FSAI Journal features the articles, “Prioritizing Indoor Air Quality Requirements in Standards Development Research,” by UL Standards & Engagement (ULSE) Standards Scientist Wathma Jayathilake, and “Using Standards to Help Improve Air Quality Around 3D Printers,” by Sustainability Program Manager Caitlin D’Onofrio.

In “Prioritizing Indoor Air Quality Requirements in Standards Development Research,” Jayathilake presents a compilation of findings on indoor air quality, and discusses how Standards like UL 2759, the Standard for Sustainability for Hard Surface Cleaners, and UL 2201, the Standard for Safety for Carbon Monoxide (CO) Emission Rate of Portable Generators, help to mitigate these issues.

In “Using Standards to Help Improve Air Quality Around 3D Printers,” D’Onofrio explores how ANSI/CAN/UL 2904, Standard Method for Testing and Assessing Particle and Chemical Emissions from 3D Printers, helps to mitigate indoor air pollution risks associated with 3D printer emissions.

The FSAI Journal is a publication of the Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI).
