David McKnight is head of partnerships for UL Standards & Engagement, developing partnerships to share safety science knowledge and advance advocacy with corporate leaders, trade association leaders, policymakers, and consumers.
McKnight has spent several years building and expanding partnerships in various roles. Before joining UL Standards & Engagement, McKnight served as vice president of business relationships and partnerships for The Manufacturing Institute, the nonprofit workforce and education partner of The National Association of Manufacturers. Prior to that position, he led corporate relations and communications at the Agricultural Retailers Association, a trade association focused on legislative and regulatory issues.
McKnight holds a B.A. in political science from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia.
