
Anna leads research on lithium‑ion battery safety, e‑mobility, and consumer perceptions of emerging technologies.
Anna Schnerre is a Lead Quantitative Insights Analyst at UL Standards & Engagement, where she leads the design and analysis of consumer research on safety, emerging technologies, and public trust. Her work helps inform consumer and industry engagement efforts, standards development, policy discussions, and industry best practices by translating data into actionable insights.
Her research focuses on lithium-ion battery safety and the safe lifecycle of energy technologies, including, sustainability, e-mobility and micromobility, aviation battery risks, and battery end-of-life management. She also studies consumer perceptions of emerging technologies such as smart home devices, autonomous vehicles, and digital health technology.
Anna leads large-scale consumer studies in the United States and globally, producing research that informs ULSE reports, policy conversations, and industry guidance. She holds a Master’s degree in Experimental Psychology and is a member of a number of prestigious organizations such as the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) and the Insights Association.
