Notre point de vue

As e-bike use grows—especially among students—clear safety guidance is essential. UL Standards & Engagement works to close the awareness gap around lithium-ion batteries, which can pose fire risks if damaged or misused.

Strong safety standards help ensure e-bikes and batteries are designed and tested to reduce risk. But standards must be paired with school and local policies, infrastructure, and education to drive safe, informed adoption of e‑mobility across campuses and communities.
