The Consumer Electronic Show is a high-level business event that touches all industries involved in consumer technologies. ULSE's thought leaders will speak alongside technology experts from SimpliSafe and the Connectivity Standards Alliance on new findings from research and how standards create a safer world.

The Conference of the Parties (COP), is held annually, with the Presidency rotating between the five recognized UN regions. This year, Azerbaijan has been selected as the Presidency of the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29), to be hosted in Baku this November. Azerbaijan has a strong track record of hosting international events and has chosen Baku Stadium as the venue for COP29. 

The 2024 International Law Enforcement Intellectual Property Crime Conference will occur on September 23-25 in Willemstad, Curaçao. INTERPOL will cohost the 17th annual event with the Government of Curaçao and its partner, the Curinde Free Trade Zone, in partnership with UL Standards & Engagement and presented by the International IP Crime Investigators College. The theme of this 17th annual event is "Reducing the Harm," with conference tracks focused on coordinating responses, aligning resources, and leveraging opportunities, primarily examining free trade zones and supply chain security.

The CO Safety Summit is focused on education, research, case studies, data, new technologies, and best practices around carbon monoxide. The summit will take place at National Association of State Fire Marshals’ 34th Annual Fire Prevention & Safety Symposium. 

This session will provide invaluable insight into the significance of our standards, the pivotal roles and responsibilities of committee members, and essential resources available to support your journey in our standards development process.

Aspen Ideas: Climate gathers hundreds of leaders and innovators with the public to showcase climate solutions with the potential to reshape our world. Dr. David Steel, executive director at UL Standards & Engagement, will be speaking on the importance of standards as a pathway for getting to greater climate adaptation, particularly in the built environment.
