Aspen Ideas: Climate
What is Aspen Ideas: Climate?
Aspen Ideas: Climate is a solutions-focused event designed for the public to learn and collaborate with climate leaders and join a community interested in addressing climate change with actionable hope.
Our Perspective
To increase climate change resilience, reduce the risk to human life and safety, and limit costly property damage, the built environment needs to be reconsidered — and standards are a pathway for getting to greater climate adaptation.
UL Standards & Engagement has been working for a safer world for more than a century. Our portfolio includes more than 1,700 standards and documents that support greater safety, and many of those deal specifically with the built environment, whether the homes we live in or the buildings that make up our communities.
Where can you find us?
Wednesday, March 13 between 9am-10:30am ET Dr. David Steel, executive director at UL Standards & Engagement, will be speaking on the 1st Floor, Expo Hall C on the main stage during the plenary session.
