UL 4600 Standard Discussed at Automated Vehicle Symposium

AUVSI provides coverage of the Automated Vehicle Symposium at which a panel discussion was held during which the need for greater uniformity of safety regulations and guidance. The approach taken by UL 4600, the Standard for Safety for the Evaluation of Autonomous Vehicles and Other Products was a focus of the panel, particularly its delivery of a set of safety-based best practices addressing critical needs for this rapidly progressing technology.
