Diane Haithcock is a standards program director for UL Standards & Engagement, specializing in safety standards covering fire and carbon monoxide risks, life safety, and more.
Diane began working for the UL enterprise in 1998 as a project engineer in fire protection. In 2010, she transitioned to the Programs team of UL Standards & Engagement. In this capacity, she serves as chair of ULSE technical committees, convening panels of experts to develop and maintain consensus safety standards for the United States and Canada. The standards in her portfolio cover building materials, life safety, and physical security.
Diane holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Florida International University.
