UL Standards and Engagement's Adherence to the WTO Principles for the Development of International Standards

The World Trade Organization's (WTO) Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) agreement promotes the use of international standards to promote fair trade around the world. The WTO/TBT Committee Decision on Principles for the Development of International Standards, Guides and Recommendations, outlines how international standards can be developed to facilitate trade and standards internationally.
