Report: National Conference on Fire Risk Reduction and Mitigation

The National Conference on Fire Risk Reduction and Mitigation was organized by the Directorate General-Fire Services, Civil Defense & Home Guards (DG-FSCDHG, Ministry of Home Affairs), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Maharashtra Fire Services (MFS), UL Standards & Engagement (ULSE) and Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI) on August 25, 2023, at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. The conference was attended by more than 100 delegates and had 25 subject matter experts representing policymakers, regulators, industry, academia, and research organizations to present, discuss, deliberate, and provide recommendations on strategies for building a ‘Surakhsit Bharat’ (Safer India).
