Pilot Impact Assessment of UL 325

Pilot Impact Assessment of the Inherent and External Entrapment Protection Requirements for Residential Garage Door Operators in UL 325, the Standard for Door, Drapery, Gate, Louver, and Window Operators and Systems is a report compiled by ULSE Research Manager, Data Science Dr. E. Andrew Kapp, PhD, CSP, CHMM. The assessment creates and evaluates a methodology for studying the impact of a 1991 revision to the Standard implementing dual entrapment protections by reviewing multiple sets of safety data to monitor the number of deaths and injuries over time which are related to this particular hazard.
